After already owning a Baby G watch, I wanted to purchase a new one, but not one with a plastic strap like my previous model.

My previous model when purchased was a bright pink, and after discolouring in the sun changed to an orangey / pink - there was nothing wrong with the watch it was for cosmetic reasons I purchased this one.

Really pleased with it, having the stainless steel strap makes a big difference, and the pink face keeps it a bit more girly.

I also like the fact the face screen is set below the casing as it stops the screen from getting scratched.

Overall very pleased with it and would recommend it.

I really like this watch. It is not chunky but feminine with the pinkish face. The dials are subtle in silver tones and the stainless steel and black bracelet is unusual and robust. It keeps excellent time. Because the watch face/glass is recessed, the glass is protected from scratches as one wears it.

Shame it doesn't look like the promotional images, 8 Nov 2011

I've just received this watch and promptly returned it.

Be warned, this watch looks significantly different and far cheaper than the "computer generated" promotional image would suggest.

The main differences are;

Finger pivot points (points around which the minute and hour hands rotate) are not smooth and domed as shown in the promotional image but instead appear incredibly cheaply made.

The second hand doesn't line up with the second markers!

5 minute markers are noticeably thicker than in the promotional image and are not composed of two sculpted shapes.

The biggest disappointment though has to be the day and date dials. The promotional image appears to show a rather substantial main dial which elegantly tapers into the two sub dials showing the date and time. In reality you get a stuck on white ring for edging which doesn't even colour match the main dial face. Truly cheap and nasty.

I paid £55, but I still consider that too much. Perhaps at £15-20 you might consider purchasing. Be warned. Thank goodness for Amazon's returns policy.

If only someone made a watch that actually looked like the promotional image, oh well...

A beautiful watch, was brought me as a christmas present and love it. Although if you prefere dainty this is not for you as quite big and chunky which I prefere.

Broke twice - don't buy, 28 Dec 2011

I returned the first watch after the bezel fell off within a week. I received a replacement but the bezel fell off this one as well - after 3 and a half months. I notice from the US Amazon site feedback that i am not alone and this has happened to others. Also, if you read the smallprint of the warranty - this type of defect isn't covered. Don't purchase.

I got this watch recenetly and only used it for a week before it started falling apart and got full of water, after washing my hands (50meter water resistance?). I dont want to jump to a conclusion yet but the speciment I received cant not be a watch with 2 years manufacturers warranty. Lodged for refund or replacment, if second fails as well, will let you know

Don't waste your hard earned! Bought 2 of these both straps snapped within weeks. I emailed breo for an explanation. Be warned they are not interested! The website claims "Breo manufactures and designs products to the highest engineering standards" I've had rubber bands that have lasted longer.

Once again, I am disappointed with an Amazon product: there were big problems with delivery; the product was not what I expected and I've been left with a general feeling that I've wasted my time and my money. This watch is very good quality, as you would expect from Sekonda.
Looks very nice and comes in a sturdy case.
Sits comfortably on my wrist and is easy to read.
I have had comments from friends how pro this watch looks.
The clasp is very secure, definatly won't come undone and fall off like my last cheapy market watch did.
Slight problem is that the fluorescence isn't great.
I would recommend it to friends.

Overall fantastic watch.

I read a number of reviews slating this watch before I bought it, mainly due to it's "lack of functionality", "lack of a stopwatch" and it "not being a sports watch". A lot of the points made are perfectly valid but obviously the people buying it didn't bother to read any sort of spec before doing so.

It is lightweight, comfortable, can be worn whilst doing most sports but ONLY tells the time. Technically it does have a date setting too, but to change the display you need to push in a tiny button at the back of the watch with a pen, so I almost certainly will never use it (this is the reason it got 4 stars an not 5)

I'm a P.E teacher and wear it during lessons to keep track of time and it's perfect for that. If I'm doing anthing that requires a stopwatch - I get one!

Best advice is, before buying this watch ,decide what you want it for and whether it fits the bill!
