Trunk Highway 55, Hennepin County Minnesota

In April 1999, the Cultural Resource Group completed Section 106 review for a segment of Trunk Highway 55 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The study included an evaluation of four burr oak trees located within the proposed right-of-way which had been identified by some Native Americans as a potential Traditional Cultural Property. In addition, archival work was conducted in association with Fort Snelling and Camp Coldwater, two nineteenth century military sites.
